Reporting to the Lead, Reliability Engineer, the Reliability EIT - Mobile Maintenance is responsible for reliability and maintainability initiatives for mobile assets at the Blackwater Mine. This role will be responsible for optimizing reliability, risk, and cost to meet the business objectives. Location: Blackwater Mine Site Schedule: Two (2) Weeks on - Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation Employment Type: Permanent Responsibilities: Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems. Provide expertise in areas such as predictive maintenance, loss elimination, root cause analysis, and maintenance strategy optimization. Responsible for condition monitoring and continuous improvement. Provide technical support to production, maintenance management and technical personnel. Measure and analyze equipment performance and loss data. Assist Reliability Lead to establish a Root Cause Analysis program to review failures, identify corrective action to prevent re-occurrence and refine asset strategy to sustain improvement. Utilize OEM platform for analyzing heavy equipment and mining fleet. Collaborate with Maintenance to develop reliability improvement asset strategies. Develop business cases for projects that meet capital expenditure criteria. Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, failures, and maintenance activities. Provide guidance and mentorship for maintenance technicians to ensure sound oil sampling techniques and strategies. Collaborate with mobile maintenance teams, operations, and safety professionals to align reliability efforts with operational goals while maintaining a strong commitment to safety. Provide vacation relief coverage for plant site relaibility team as required Qualifications: University degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering required. Registered as an EIT or P.Eng with a provincial engineering association and must be willing to register with EGBC. Minimum 1 year co-op experience. Strong commitment to safety protocols and practices Proficiency in mobile equipment systems and diagnostics. Candidates with previous construction equipment and or mobile maintenance mining experience in a maintenance or reliability role is required. Knowledge of condition monitoring technologies specific to mobile machinery. Knowledge of vibration analysis, oil analysis, Thermography, NDT technologies and techniques, root cause analysis, Failure mode and effects analysis, troubleshooting, data analysis and downtime tracking. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data related to mobile equipment health and reliability. High degree of organizational and motivational skills. Experience working with different computer programs, such as Pronto, MS Office, etc. Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off rotation.
