Registrar Service Representative

The Registrar Services Representative works behind the scenes to support student registration, transcript evaluations, and graduation audits while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesWorks independently on assigned tasks while meeting productivity and performance expectationsProvides student and stakeholder support, directly and/or indirectly, to internal and external stakeholders by upholding service level agreementsMasters operational systems to perform daily tasks and functions while becoming familiar with program and degree requirements offered by institutional partnersParticipates in additional trainings, as neededEvaluates incoming documents to determine if prospective students meet enrollment/admission requirements and qualify for transfer creditRegisters students for courses based on completed evaluation and entry into the programEnsures compliance with all policies and procedures that are outlined in the Institutional Catalog, Academic Policy & Procedure Manual and Registrar Services Resource GuideCollaborates with program and department heads on various scenarios and situations to ensure proper entry/continuation in the programCompletes other duties as assignedPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsSkillsBachelor's Degree Preferred or comparable previous work experience RequiredStrong customer service experience, preferably in an academic or professional setting RequiredPC skills in Microsoft Office, Internet applications and database softwareOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detailAbility to work effectively autonomously and independently while still engaging a high-performing teamAbility to perform and communicate efficiently in a virtual settingUnderstand and retain new concepts and programs quickly and remain adaptable to changeStrong skills in organization and multi-taskingAbility to work a variety of office hours including evenings and weekendsBachelor's Degree Preferred or comparable previous work experience RequiredBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, life and disability insurance401k Retirement Program + 6% employer match15 Days of Paid Vacation Days each Calendar Year12 Paid Holidays + 2 floating holidaysCompany OverviewCovista is America's largest healthcare educator, serving more than 97,000 students and supported by a community of 385,000 alumni across five accredited institutions.
