Key Responsibilities Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with diverse medical needs, including vital signs monitoring, patient evaluation, and medication administration. Care Planning: Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Infectious Disease Management: Monitor and manage infectious disease care effectively to prevent spread within the pediatric population. Family Support: Support families and caregivers in their homes, providing education and training to ensure they have the necessary skills to care for their loved ones effectively. Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Licensure: Valid RN/LPN license in the state of New York. Medical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology and vital signs assessment. Experience: Experience in pediatric patient assessment and care planning. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams. Preferred Qualifications: Home Care Experience: At least 1 year of experience in home care. Pediatric Specialization: Pediatric specialization or experience working with pediatric patients. Nights, 9pm - 5am.
