Registered Nurse (RN) - Women & Infant Services
HSHS St. Francis Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women & Infant Services unit. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge to assist in the delivery of newborns in conjunction with providing emotional and medical support for the mother during labor with a variety including high risk patients. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations. Position Specifics: • Department: Women & Infant Services. Nursey & Post Partum Care. Team consists of 11 staff that are close knit and work very well together • Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift (6:45pm-7:15am, 3x12 schedule) with every 3rd weekend rotation • Facility: St. Francis Hospital • Location: Litchfield, IL • Sign On Bonus: $10,000 • Compensation that aligns with experience. Shift differentials for nights and weekends on top of base rate. Benefits eligible! Education Qualifications • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Qualifications • Experience in healthcare is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. • Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules. • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
