All expectations require teamwork and knowledge of the antineoplastic/immunotherapy drugs used, symptom management, excellent communication/documentation skills, and clinical judgment. You must attend the Hillman Cancer Center Antineoplastic Therapy & Immunotherapy Course and Foundation to Practice Series if not already completed or the equivalent. Responsibilities
Prepping breast cancer patient charts prior to MD clinic day for treatment, return, follow up or new patient visits.

Patient education and triaging patient phone calls, medical advice, and medication refills.

Making MD and homecare referrals as necessary.

Demonstrating teamwork and knowledge of antineoplastic/immunotherapy drugs used and symptom management.

Exemplifying excellent communication/documentation skills and clinical judgment.

Establishing relationships with physicians, other care providers, patients, and patients' families to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum six months previous nursing experience required.

1 year of experienced HIGHLY preferred.
,
Previous Oncology experience HIGHLY preferred.
,
BSN preferred.
,
Registered Nurse (RN) current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state.
,
UPMC approved national certification preferred.
,
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) OR Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required based on AHA standards.
