Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – School-Based Contract Opportunity (Morton, PA)
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a full-time, school-based contract role in Morton, Pennsylvania. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide dedicated health care services to students, supporting both their academic success and overall well-being.
Position Details:
• Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Morton, PA
• Schedule: Full-Time, School Hours
• Setting: Special Education (will ride bus to and from school with child)
• Type: Contract | School Year | Potential for Renewal Based on Performance
Minimum Requirements (Per Pennsylvania State Regulations):
• Active Pennsylvania RN license in good standing
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass all required background checks, including:
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• PA Criminal History Check
• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• School-based nursing experience or pediatric care experience preferred
• Experience supporting students with disabilities or in special education settings is highly desirable
Typical Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care and health management to students
• Administer prescribed medications and perform medical procedures per student health plans
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or seizure disorders
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid as needed
• Maintain detailed documentation of care and communication with families and school staff
• Collaborate with school teams, teachers, and families to support the health and safety of students
