Registered Nurse for Medical Weight Loss Company in Utah

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Weight Loss Company who has a license to prescribe medications in Utah . The ideal candidate will join our team to support clients in a personalized dosing approach to using GLP's as a tool in their health and wellness journey through compassionate care and clinical expertise. Duties • Authorize and prescribe compounded Tirzepatide and Semaglutide through a pharmacy we already have a long standing relationship with. • Review patient assessments and medical history, using our EMR systems prior to authorizing treatment for GLP-1's. • Educate patients on weight management plans, medication use, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching strategies, as requested by client. • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and record keeping standards. • Collaborate medical assistants and owners to help clients meet long term goals. • Participate in case management. Qualifications • Valid RN license with current registration to practice in the state of employment. • Experience working with EMR systems is preferred. • Skills in administering injections. • Some knowledge and understanding of GLP-1's when used correctly, is preferred. • Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. • Join our team to make a meaningful impact on patients’ health by providing expert nursing care tailored to their unique needs within a dynamic weight loss environment that values professionalism and compassion.
