Registered Nurse Consultant– Medical Day Services
About the position
PathPoint is seeking a 24 hour per month Registered Nurse Consultant to provide clinical guidance to the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) within the Medical Day Services program. This role is based out of our Santa Barbara office with some remote work and occasional travel to other service provision areas. The role includes ensuring that all clinical practices align with DDS Directive D-2024 RateReform-008 and meet the standards of care for individuals with complex medical needs for PathPoint's I/DD licensed programs. The RN serves as a clinical advisor, ensuring quality assurance, compliance, and best practices in nursing care delivery. Please include a cover letter when applying. Responsibilities
• Provide clinical guidance to the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Ensure clinical practices align with DDS Directive D-2024 RateReform-008
• Meet the standards of care for individuals with complex medical needs for PathPoint's I/DD licensed programs
• Serve as a clinical advisor
• Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and best practices in nursing care delivery
Requirements
• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with medically fragile or developmentally disabled populations.
• Experience in clinical supervision or consultation roles.
• Strong knowledge of DDS regulations, Title 17, and Community Care Licensing standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
