We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Neuro Care team at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Position Overview:
Full-time night shift position (7:00pm - 7:30am) with flexible scheduling options
Competitive salary and benefits package, including up to $10,000 in bonuses and increased base hourly rates

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and neurosurgical patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and promote optimal health outcomes.
Essential Functions:
Provides high-quality, patient-centered care that is consistent with our organization's values and standards
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Develops and implements individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
Evaluates patient outcomes and adjusts care plans as needed to promote optimal health outcomes
Participates in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in neuro care
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Current Michigan RN license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy
