With over 40 years of success and rapid growth, Unitek Learning continues to lead the sector through innovative, career-aligned programs and partnerships.Unitek is seeking a Program Director – Vocational Nursing Program Mentor to guide and support Program Directors while assisting the Administrative Nursing Director and Chief Academic Officer with special projects and program initiatives. This role is responsible for mentoring leadership staff, ensuring program compliance, and contributing to strategic academic operations across vocational nursing programs. If you’re ready to apply your leadership and nursing education experience to mentor teams and shape program quality across campuses, we’d love to hear from you.Serve as a mentor for existing Program Directors and nursing leadership staff. Act as interim Program Director during the recruitment process for new Program Directors. Plan, develop, manage, update, and evaluate allaspects of the vocational nursing program. Prepare reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and other documentation required by state and Vocational Nursing Boards. Assist with identifying and securing external resources to support nursing program success. Develop and implement program policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards. Organize and serve on committees related to nursing education and academic quality. Develop and maintain educational partnerships with clinical sites. Conduct clinical site evaluations assessing safety, risk, and the ability to meet program objectives.  Participate in nursing faculty recruitment, hiring, orientation, and retention. Monitor instructional quality and conduct faculty observations, evaluations, and strategic planning sessions. Advise and support potential nursing students during recruitment and admission planning. Ensure students are properly oriented to nursing skills labs and clinical facilities prior to rotations.Participate in recruitment and admission processes for qualified nursing students. Confirm that all students meet documentation, graduation, and licensing exam requirements. Assist in planning and conducting Nursing Advisory Committee meetings. Engage in professional development and maintain required continuing education hours. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state rules and regulations governing vocational nursing practiceQualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Program Director. Active California Registered Nursing License. Bachelor’s degree from an approved school of nursing. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, including at least 1 year in teaching or clinical supervision (or a combination thereof) within the last 5 years, or a minimum of 3 years in nursing administration or education within the last 5 years. Completion of coursework in administration, teaching, and curriculum development from an approved institutionAdditional Information:We Offer (for Full Time):Medical, Dental and Vision starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment2 Weeks’ starting Vacation per year.  Increasing based on years of service with company12 paid Holidays and 2 Floating Holiday401K with a Company MatchCompany Paid Life Insurance at 1x’s your annual salaryLeadership development and training for career advancementTuition assistance and Forgiveness for you and your family up to 100% depending on program
