For our US operations, based out of Elizabethtown (KY), we are looking for a motivated Sales Professional to join our Soudal Pro sales team and support the growth ambitions of the Soudal brand in the US. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Creating and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the Northwest. Recruiting, training, and supervising independent representatives. This includes setting sales goals, evaluating performance, and providing feedback and coaching. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients and potential customers. This involves purposeful visits, understanding their needs, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving growth. Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. This includes staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and the latest products and services. Meet and exceed sales targets set by the VP of Sales. Preparing and managing the budget for the Northwest region. Providing detailed reports on sales activities, results, forecasts, and any issues encountered into the CRM and upper management. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Soudal’s products and services while educating our customers and independent representatives on them. Daily engagement out in the market with prospective and existing customers. Addressing potential problems and identifying creative solutions, particularly in customer complaints and interpersonal issues. Attending industry events and conferences to network, build brand awareness, and pursue business development opportunities. Working closely with other departments within Soudal, such as marketing, R&D, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales. Ensuring that all sales operations are conducted in line with Soudal’s policies and legal guidelines. Qualifications Preferred higher education degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent through experience. Required Skills Proficiency in various sales techniques and knowledge of the sales process. Familiarity with CRM and Power BI software is beneficial. Ability to lead and motivate an independent representatives' network. This includes coaching, setting sales targets, and performance evaluation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for negotiating with clients and communicating with your team members and upper management. Ability to develop strategic sales plans based on Soudal’s goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction. Skills building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies. Ability to analyze data, sales statistics, and translate results into better solutions. Understanding of the Mid-Atlantic market, including competitors, economic trends and customer needs. Being adaptable and flexible in a constantly changing business environment. Capability to solve customer issues and internal conflicts effectively. Ability to manage multiple projects at once and maintain attention to detail. Ability to travel overnight. Occasional weekends may be required based on business demands. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
