Associate Attorney- General Liability (REMOTE IN CA)
An AV-rated, full-service national law firm, is expanding its California practice and seeking an Associate Attorney with General Liability / Civil Defense experience to join its team. This is a FULLY REMOTE role for attorneys located anywhere in California. Must reside in California (any city). This firm is known for its tenacious defense, excellent client relationships, and long-standing reputation for results-driven advocacy. ️ The Role • Handle General Liability and civil defense matters from inception through resolution • Manage a caseload • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery • Take and defend depositions • Appear in court (as needed) • Participate in mediation and trial preparation • Collaborate with partners ✅ Qualifications • Active California Bar license (required) • 2+ years of civil defense litigation experience, ideally in: General Liability, Insurance Defense, Mass Tort / Toxic Tort, Construction Defect, Labor & Employment • Previous experience taking and defending depositions, appearance in court, motion practice, and discovery • Previous Trial experience preferred, NOT required.
