Core applications include quantitation, kinetic analysis, and epitope binning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory. Lead and manage commercial activities across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Italy and Slovenia, ensuring structured territory development and sustained revenue growth. Identify, develop, and close key opportunities within Pharmaceutical, Biopharma, CRO, Environmental Science, and Academic life science research sectors. Develop and execute strategic account plans and proposals to drive incremental growth across the region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, weekly reports, and detailed account information (including product, application, and sales cycle data) within the CRM system. Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, positioning effective competitive strategies and solutions. Confidently present and articulate technology, applications, and value propositions to scientific and commercial audiences. Collaborate cross-functionally with Field Application Scientists (FAS) and Service teams for demonstrations, evaluations, and post-sales support. Drive customer success and long-term account development. Represent the company at trade shows, scientific conferences, user group meetings, and virtual events. Contribute to the development of regional commercial strategies and market expansion initiatives within DACH. QUALIFICATIONS BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3+ years of successful capital equipment sales experience within the life sciences sector. Experience with Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI) or Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technologies preferred. Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Highly self-motivated, organised, and capable of building relationships at all levels. Experience developing and executing territory sales plans with a long-term strategic focus. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 kilos. Work Environment : Combination of remote (home-based) work, office-based work, and time spent at customer sites. Must reside within the territory. The assigned territory may evolve based on business needs and organizational priorities. The role may include responsibility for additional regions as required. Willingness to travel as required, including overnight travel.
