Job Description for R.E. Loan Processor II
This position is responsible for the timely preparation of all loan documents from initial application to loan closing.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Update mortgage applications within the LOS system and order credit verifications, title searches/opinions, flood certifications, VOE, VOD, and appraisal reports.
Ā Prepare closing documents for members' signatures and coordinate with title companies and loan officers to ensure smooth closings.
Ā Clear pre-underwrite conditions, communicate with vendors and members as needed, and analyze information for completeness and acceptability.
Ā Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on changing guidelines, regulations, and government requirements.
Performance Metrics:
Ā Produce mortgage loan documents in a timely manner and organize files for approval.
Ā Closings completed on time.
Ā Cross-sell credit union products and services.
Ā Maintain a professional work environment and appearance.
Ā Cross-train on other positions within the department as needed.
Requirements:
Ā Three to five years of experience in similar or related roles.
Ā A high school education or equivalent.
Ā Above average time management skills and ability to work independently.
Ā Good communication, listening, and organizational skills.
