About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Copy Editor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with our brand voice and editorial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and proofread a variety of content types including articles, reports, web copy, marketing materials, emails, and more.
• Ensure all content is grammatically correct, free of spelling errors, and consistent with company style guidelines.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers, helping improve the clarity and quality of their work.
• Work closely with content creators, marketers, and designers to meet deadlines and support cross-functional projects.
• Fact-check names, dates, references, and ensure accuracy of information presented.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven experience in copy editing, preferably in a professional or fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
• Familiarity with editorial styles (e.g., AP, Chicago Manual of Style).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Preferred:
• Experience with content management systems (CMS), Google Docs, or editorial software.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing is a plus.
