Vivo Infusion Charge Entry Specialist (RCM):

As an integral part of our Revenue Cycle Management team, the Charge Entry Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring that every billing charge is posted with precision and timeliness, fully compliant with both company and payer standards. This position is essential for upholding the integrity and efficiency of our revenue processes.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a professional healthcare cash posting position. Certified Professional Coder certification and Infusion experience is preferred.

The Charge Entry Specialist will work remotely from a home office with a secure network. Only candidates residing in the states below at the time of employment will be considered.

Compensation:
• $18.00 - $26.00/hour
• 5% Annual Bonus Potential (Performance Based)

Reports to: Manager, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Primary duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for reviewing charges that are entered in the EMR by the clinical team
• Confirms charges are entered into the RCM system with correct CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, Modifiers, payer specific requirements.
• Responsible for resolving upfront claim edits and errors.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance of payer regulations as it pertains to billable services.
• Responsible for the follow-up of all missing information and claims on hold.
• Collaborate with clinical and inventory teams to resolve and make charge corrections.
• Complete assigned batch with daily charges within 24 hours.
• Submit claims daily.
• Maintain patient confidentiality by following HIPAA policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification, preferred.
• 2 years (minimum) of prior healthcare professional charge entry experience, required.
• Infusion experience, preferred.
• Proficient (intermediate level of application) with all Microsoft Office Products, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Demonstrates success working in a fast-paced environment requiring a high level of attention to detail.
