Job description: Pacific Coastal Airlines is looking for a permanent full-time Ramp Agent based out of the South Terminal building at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond. We are seeking a candidate who is looking to enjoy a family-oriented, dynamic, and rewarding work environment. We fly scheduled and charter service between busy international airports, remote destinations in beautiful province of British Columbia.Job Responsibilities:
Marshall aircraft
Load and unload passenger luggage, cargo, containers/pallets, etc.
Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required/directed
Drive and/or operate ground support equipment
Assist customers and crew during boarding/offloading of the aircraft
Cabin Cleaning tasks as operationally required
Report all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor/manager
Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:
Strong teamwork and communications skills
Valid driver's license, minimum requirement Class 7 (N)
Valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) would be an asset
Ability to work outdoors during inclement weather conditions
Flexible to work any day of the week, including weekends, evenings, holidays and/or irregular shifts
Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance
Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
