Sentara Health Plans is currently hiring a HEDIS Quality Coordinator/Administrative Assistant!
Status: Full time position (40 hours)
Standard working hours: Dayshift, 7:30am to 4pm EST.
Location: Applicants must live in Virginia. Need to go as needed (approx. 1 a year).
Required Qualifications
Ā High School Grad or Equivalent
Ā One-year customer service experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Ā Experience with Medical Records Preferred
Ā One-year experience in a member and/or provider engagement role preferred
Ā Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial experience/knowledge highly preferred
Special skills and/or knowledge:
Ā Analytical skills - proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel
Ā Openly and actively communicates information and takes initiative to communicate extensively
Ā Ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
Ā Effective interpersonal skills, collaboration, and listening skills
Ā Ability to build strong relationships within and outside the health plan
Ā Negotiation skills
Primary responsibilities include:
Ā Providing "best in class" service and is the first point of contact, ambassador and concierge for assigned region/membership
Ā Utilizes skills to retain members in the assigned provider practices and supports new membership after the initial enrollment period
Ā Coordinates in office wellness events as a result of interventions management to improve gap closures in the field
Ā Coordinates with Health Education and contacts members telephonically to schedule them for appointments
Ā Participates in the Member Advisory and Provider Advisory Meetings as needed
Ā Maintains superior member/provider relationships and ensures the highest quality of care coordination.
