Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer — Contract (1099, Part-Time) Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Hours: 10–12 hours per week Rate: $40–$50/hour (DOE) Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to support ongoing software development and releases. This is a part-time, hourly contract role for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality, reliable products. Responsibilities • Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases • Identify, document, track, and verify defects using a ticketing system • Investigate issues reported by clients and internal teams • Work closely with Development and Product teams to test new features • Support test automation by identifying automatable test cases and maintaining scripts • Use existing automation frameworks to build reliable, reusable tests • Contribute to improving automation coverage and overall product quality • Follow QA and coding standards to ensure consistent, maintainable tests Qualifications • 3+ years of professional QA experience • Strong experience developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases • Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies • Experience with functional, integration, regression, and performance testing • Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability • Proficiency in basic math • Interest in finance or accounting is a plus Please send your LinkedIn profile and attach resume to your application.
