QA & Testing Senior Advisors- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is QA & Testing Senior Advisor which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. Responsibilities- Understand back-end and front-end architecture components required to formulate test strategies. Work with onsite (Scrum Master, Product, QA and Developers) and offshore QA team members to properly define testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria. Define test data criteria and partners with data team to obtain the data. Participate in sprint-level, integration, and regression test planning and execution. Design and develop scripts to run automated tests to ensure consistency, repeatability, and accelerate delivery. Determine priorities for test scenarios and create effective execution plans. Perform manual and exploratory testing. Perform defect reporting and triaging. Analyze failure patterns and determine corrective actions to eliminate errors. Adhere to Quality Engineering best practices while helping drive changes to testing practices where necessary. Hybrid work schedule. Qualifications- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in electronics, computers, or engineering plus five years of experience managing data migration projects. In lieu of a degree, the employer will accept at least three years of university-level study in electronics, computers, or engineering plus at least one year of professional experience in application testing. Must have experience with: Requirements analysis, test design, test execution, defect management, and test closure; AWS Cloud testing, AWS API testing, functional testing, and virtual service testing; Testing nonrelational database DynamoDB; Creating automated UI and API test scripts on Cypress Test Driven development framework; Core Java; Object oriented concepts, including inheritance, polymorphism, and collections; Git repository; Typescripts; Python; JIRA; Postman; VSCode. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
