QA Tester - Remote / Telecommute
Job Overview:
• We are seeking a QA Tester to support testing activities across applications and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, the software development lifecycle, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate system functionality and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Develop test plans in collaboration with business analysts and developers.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and test matrices.
• Prepare test data and assist in automated test script development.
• Support setup and maintenance of test environments.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts.
• Validate and document test results.
• Provide recommendations on quality readiness.
• Participate in project meetings and testing activities.
• Document, track, and analyze defects.
• Assist developers in resolving defects.
• Contribute to quality assurance process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices.
• Assist with maintenance of testing tools and environments.
Requirement/Must Have:
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Knowledge of distributed and multi-tiered applications.
• Ability to create test documentation and process flows.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills.
Skills:
• Test planning and execution.
• Defect tracking and analysis.
• SQL query language.
• Process documentation and flowchart creation.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
Qualification And Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
