Responsible for all aspects of testing throughout the Software Development Lifecycle process. Oversees the planning and scheduling of test activities. Ensures that testing deliverables are being produced. Works to meet the testing targets of the release criteria for the application software product. Review and validate test results and defect reports by the testers. Schedule and lead defect meetings and other meetings as required with stakeholders. Educate customers and project team members about User Acceptance Testing. Create summary reports and communicate defect metrics on a daily and weekly basis. Establishing DevOps practices, coaching teams on Agile methodologies, leading strategic test planning and execution, and implementing automated testing frameworks and QA data quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDevOps Enablement: Design, implement, and optimize DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration, deployment, and automated testing across multiple applications.Agile Coaching: Serve as Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and coaching teams through Agile transformations.Strategic Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, covering functional, regression, system, systems integration, and data quality testing.Automated Testing Leadership: Lead the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts and regression beds, leveraging tools such as Selenium.QA Framework Development: Establish and continuously improve QA processes, including test planning, defect tracking, compliance, and risk mitigation.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage high-performing QA and Agile teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables and seamless integration of QA into development cycles.Change Management: Address challenges in integrating QA and DevOps into ongoing development, overcoming resistance, and driving adoption of best practices.Reporting: Track and report on QA metrics, Agile progress, risks, and release readiness to leadership.Must-Have ExperienceRegression testing, system testing, systems integration testing, and QA data quality.Setting up and optimizing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes.Leading Agile teams and coaching on Agile best practices.Strategic test planning and execution for complex enterprise applications.Automated testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium).Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.8+ years of experience in software testing, QA leadership, and Agile environments.Proven experience in all aspects of testing, including regression, system, systems integration, and data quality.Demonstrated success as a Scrum Master, coaching teams through Agile transformations.Certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, Selenium Practitioner, ETL Tester, DevOps for Data Tester.Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in utility or energy sector IT projects.Familiarity with customer engagement platforms and digital transformation initiatives.Ability to manage decentralized teams across multiple time zones.
