Responsibilities
Ā Exercise initiative and ingenuity to deal with varying circumstances and changing conditions.

Ā Assure optimum control of quality for raw materials and finished products to comply with quality systems regulations.

Ā Perform raw material, tooling, and in-process tests and reviews.

Ā Read and report results, performing trend analysis as required.

Ā Recommend and amend sampling procedures, test methods, and standard operating procedures to improve processes.
,
Ā Utilize document change control systems for periodic reviews and SOP revisions.
,
Ā Conduct non-conformance investigations and document findings within the relevant systems.
,
Ā Utilize failure analysis tools to conduct investigations.
,
Ā Support Kaizens with cross-functional teams to identify and implement corrective actions.
,
Ā Cross-train to support other functional areas and provide training to peers as needed.
,
Ā Assist Quality Engineer with day-to-day activities and support audits and inspections.
,
Ā Plan and organize assignments to ensure timely project completion.
,
Ā Comply with quality management system and safety policies.

Ā Coordinate material disposition inspections and non-conforming material movement.

Ā Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Ā A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required; an Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred.

Ā A minimum of 2 years of related quality assurance experience in a regulated environment is preferred.
,
Ā Experience in the QSR/ISO regulated Medical Device industry is preferred.
,
Ā Proficient in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
,
Ā Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
,
Ā Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are necessary.
,
Ā Strong analytical problem-solving skills are required.
,
Ā Self-motivated with the ability to complete job duties with limited supervision.

Ā Ability to interact with technical peers and all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required.

Ā Must be able to speak, comprehend, and write English.

Ā Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is preferred.

Ā Knowledge of JD Edwards (ERP), LIMS, and SCADA is preferred.
