About the Role: The QA Architect L1 plays a critical role in defining and implementing quality assurance strategies within the business services domain. This position is responsible for designing scalable and efficient testing frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The role involves collaborating closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to integrate quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The QA Architect L1 will lead efforts to identify automation opportunities, optimize testing processes, and establish best practices that align with organizational goals. Ultimately, this role ensures that software solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements, contributing to customer satisfaction and business success. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation and architecture. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline. Experience working in business services or enterprise software environments. Familiarity with performance testing and security testing practices. Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level or Certified Agile Tester. Responsibilities: Design and develop comprehensive QA architectures and testing frameworks tailored to business services applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies. Lead the implementation of automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and coverage. Conduct code and test case reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. Monitor and analyze testing outcomes to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality enhancements. Provide mentorship and guidance to QA team members on architectural and technical aspects of testing. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative QA solutions. Skills: The QA Architect L1 utilizes strong analytical and problem-solving skills daily to design robust testing frameworks that align with business objectives. Proficiency in programming languages enables the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, enhancing test coverage and efficiency. Collaboration and communication skills are essential for working effectively with development teams and stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process. Knowledge of CI/CD tools supports the integration of automated tests into deployment pipelines, facilitating faster and more reliable releases. Additionally, staying abreast of industry trends allows the QA Architect to continuously improve testing strategies and adopt innovative technologies that drive quality excellence.
