Job description: Genesis10 is currently seeking a Python Engineer with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.Responsibilities:
Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale software engineering planning
Review and analyze multi-faceted software engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
Contribute to the resolution of complex situations while ensuring compliance with function policies and procedures
Collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders to ensure project success
Design and develop software solutions using Python, Apache Spark, Django, API, CI/CD, Jenkins, DevOps tools, and Postgres SQL Database
Develop Power BI reports and support data ETL and query execution in a big data environment
Work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals and business objectives
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education
4-6 years of hands-on experience with Python
2-4 years of experience with Apache Spark, API development, and database management
1-2 years of experience with Kubernetes & Docker containerization
Strong understanding of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines
Strong Cloud experience
