We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to support both the Publisher and a Senior Editor in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, the candidate will support both the Publisher and the Senior Editor across a wide range of responsibilities spanning the publishing process. Responsibilities : For the Publisher, they will assist on managing the overview and seasonal flow of Saga Press, organizing all seasonal materials (imprint tipsheets, title grids, and sales materials), scheduling meetings and all calendar oversight, note taking, and helping to maintain all imprint traffic and deadlines. For both the Publisher and the Senior Editor, this role will assist on all levels of acquisition to publication. Responsibilities include reviewing manuscripts, logging submissions, facilitating book management inter-departmentally, general administrative duties, communicating with authors and agents by phone and email, drafting sales copy, preparing tip sheets and contract-related documents, and organizing schedules and meetings.
