Public Health Fellow
Results for America is seeking a Public Health Fellow to help make the Maryland Department of Health the most results-driven, evidence-based state government health agency in the country. The fellow will work with the state practice team to train staff, review and redline grant applications, and ensure that investments align with evidence-based grantmaking guidelines. Requirements • 12+ years of relevant work experience • Bachelors degree • At least five years of relevant work experience in a local, state, or federal government public health agency • Thorough understanding of using evidence in government grant-making, budgeting, and direct services processes • Experience maintaining organizational assets/records/knowledge base • Experience interacting with executive-level leadership in executive and legislative branches of government • A track record of producing results in government, and expertise in public budgeting, grant-making, use of data and evidence, project management, communication, and relationship management Benefits • Choice in medical plans • Dental/vision coverage • Paid time off • 403b retirement plan with employer contribution Apply tot his job
