Public Health Business Analyst Key Role: Work with federal public health clients and a multi-disciplinary team to provide programmatic, technology, and project management support. Perform tasks such as project coordination, client engagement, and delivering impactful presentations and project artifacts intended for leadership-level audiences. Work on requirements development and stakeholder coordination, and ensure clear communication across multiple teams or tasks. Gather, analyze, and document business needs and help ensure solutions align with data governance standards. Prepare communication materials, facilitate meetings, support change management activities, and provide concise updates to federal customers, helping maintain transparency, clarity, and momentum throughout the project. Provide project management and operational support to federal and commercial public health programs, assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of public health solutions. Interface and communicate regularly with leadership-level federal customers to understand their objectives and propose solutions. Identify stakeholders, communication approaches, and coordinate relevant groups for solutioning and feedback. Support the development of new processes related to data governance. Identify and design approaches for improvements to existing program processes. Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and system architects to evaluate solutions against data governance standards. Collaborate with public health staff and stakeholders to define business and data requirements needed for analyses, reporting, and visualization activities. Support project management activities, maintain documentation, and ensure timely completion of deliverables aligned with client objectives and standards. Assist in drafting reports, presentations, and communication materials to share findings, recommendations, and best practices with various audiences. Work with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment between project goals, public health requirements, and analytical outcomes. This position is located in Atlanta, GA. Basic Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience providing project management support and task leadership, including developing client-facing presentations and reports • 3+ years of experience developing communications products • 3+ years of experience eliciting requirements and translating requirements into solutions • 3+ years of experience supporting technology or data governance • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Ability to work well in a team environment • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements • Bachelors degree Additional Qualifications: • Experience with federal healthcare or public health organizations and programs • Experience providing subject matter expertise in data governance • Experience managing projects using Jira and Confluence • Experience with Miro • Experience with stakeholder management • Experience with data governance Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
