Sales / Market Research Assistant Location: Remote (India) Employment Type: Full-Time Remote | Full-Time - NIGHT SHIFT (EST TIME) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Sales / Market Research Assistant to support our Sales and Marketing functions with a strong focus on CRM management, market research, lead generation, and AI-powered productivity tools . The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting business development teams, with experience in U.S. or European companies highly desired . The selected candidate must be available to work during Eastern Time hours . Key Responsibilities 1. CRM Management & HubSpot Operations Maintain and update CRM records within HubSpot , ensuring accuracy and completeness based on sales communications. Generate executive summaries, action items , and follow-up documentation using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools. Export CRM data into predefined Excel templates for weekly reporting required by stakeholders. Ensure correct field mapping and data integrity across all reporting sheets. 2. Lead Generation & Research Identify and research key contacts . Utilize ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Copilot to find decision-makers, validate information, and fill gaps with AI-driven insights. Build and maintain target lists that support sales outreach, upcoming contract cycles, and business development initiatives. 3. Market Research Track contract renewal cycles , RFP timelines, and procurement patterns for educational institutions. Proactively identify when contracts or agreements are ending and flag opportunities for early engagement with decision-makers. Compile market intelligence to support strategic planning and BD efforts. 4. Data Entry & Reporting Perform accurate and timely data entry across CRM and Excel tools. Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly data reports for sales leadership and internal stakeholders. Ensure all exported reports follow approved formats (fields, columns, and naming conventions). 5. AI & Technical Productivity Tools Use Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI platforms to accelerate research, summarize information, produce insights, and support content creation. Apply automation to enhance workflow speed and reduce manual workload on sales and marketing tasks. 6. Marketing & Branding Support Assist with industry-specific content , such as email drafts, capability one-pagers, and outreach messages highlighting client pain points. Provide light graphic support for marketing collateral (experience with InDesign or similar tools preferred). Support future branding initiatives such as updates to the website, capability statements, and corporate presentation materials Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with HubSpot CRM . Proven experience in market research, lead generation, and CRM management for U.S. or European companies . Proficiency with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) . Ability to identify and validate decision-makers across organizations. Strong analytical skills for researching contract cycles, procurement timelines, and market trends. Excellent written communication skills and professional email drafting ability. Experience working collaboratively with sales, marketing, and operations teams. High attention to detail, especially in data reporting and CRM maintenance. Preferred Qualifications Experience in facilities management , higher education, or B2B services research. Familiarity with InDesign or graphic design tools for marketing materials. Prior roles with titles such as Market Research Analyst, Sales Operations Assistant, Business Development Assistant, CRM Specialist , etc. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $14,500–$17,000 USD annually (based on experience and scope).
