Project/Program Manager Associate
Job Description
Oversees the daily operations and tactical execution of small projects, project components, new initiatives, and ongoing business deliverables to align with organizational needs. Collaborates with project teams, business owners, and sponsors to plan, develop, and execute projects or programs successfully. Ensures projects are properly resourced, achieve key milestones, and are delivered effectively.
What You'll Do
Ā Utilizes project management methodologies to plan project time lines and milestones, track progress, and monitor and communicate project status.
Ā Recommends effective business process improvement initiatives.
Ā Analyzes, documents, and reports program performance results throughout the company.
Ā Ensures a cooperative effort across the organization on all tasks, issues, and projects, managing and resolving conflicts as needed. This is accomplished through effective communication plans and processes resulting in a collaborative resolution or result within established time frames.
Ā Implements program and process changes as needed to support the intended goals/objectives.
Ā Proposes a variety of solutions to business issues/problems utilizing appropriate analysis tools (i.e. Cost/Benefit Analysis, Flowcharting, etc.).
Ā Assists upper level management on special assignments, i.e., budgets, operating plans and financial cost forecasts to support the objectives.
Ā Oversee the implementation of the project(s) on a daily basis with regard to timeframes, budget requirements and quality.
What You'll Bring (Hiring Requirements)
Ā Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
Ā 0-2 years of experience in related field.
Ā In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field.
Nice to Have (Preferred Experience)
Ā Proficiency in creating decision trees, incorporating conditional logic as needed.
Ā Adept at reading, comprehending, and applying complex criteria to decision trees effectively.
Ā Pharmacy technician experience is a plus.
Ā Meticulous attention to detail.
Ā Proven ability to manage and adhere to tight timelines.
Salary Range
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
