About the role As Planful continues to grow and scale, we’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused Project Manager to guide clients through their onboarding and implementation journey. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Delivery Services, you’ll manage Planful implementation projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and a seamless customer experience. You’ll serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on project lead, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to drive alignment, manage communication, and deliver measurable success. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Travel up to 25% may be required. Requirements 5+ years of experience managing complex enterprise software implementation projects. Proven success leading projects with multiple resources over extended durations (4+ months). Background in software or consulting environments; EPM or FP&A implementation experience is a plus. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels. Demonstrated ownership mindset, driving accountability, transparency, and results. Confident, consultative approach with the ability to manage expectations and influence outcomes. Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. PMP certification preferred. Responsibilities Lead the full lifecycle of Planful implementation projects, from initiation through successful delivery and closure. Ensure each project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining a strong customer experience. Drive consistent communication and alignment across project stakeholders, both internal and external. Provide project governance and oversight, including detailed project planning, financial tracking, risk mitigation, and reporting. Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues to keep projects on track. Facilitate regular project meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure timely updates on status and milestones. Act as the customer’s trusted advocate throughout implementation, ensuring goals and expectations are met. Partner cross-functionally to continuously improve delivery processes and contribute to the overall success of the Professional Services team. Compensation decisions are based on each individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and work location. The base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000 USD per year, depending on experience and location. This position is also eligible for bonus or commission.
