Project Manager, IUU
Ipsos is one of the world’s largest research companies, and they are seeking an entry-level Project Manager to coordinate qualitative market research studies. The role involves assisting in project cost estimates, managing project execution, and serving as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.ResponsibilitiesAssists in developing project cost estimates by sourcing and evaluating quotes from facilities, recruiters, and other vendorsSupports creation of pricing proposals based on project specifications, methodology requirements, and client budget parametersMaintains and updates vendor/supplier database with current pricing and contact information to support efficient proposal developmentCollaborates with research leads to ensure proposals are competitive and feasibleInitiates, organizes and executes fielding of qualitative market research projects with direction and oversight from project teamBuilds detailed project plans including all specifications for recruiting, in-person or virtual logistics, budget, suppliers and confirms plans with project teamSelects suppliers with guidance from research team and oversees vendor relationship throughout projectSupports on screener design and works with recruitment vendor to execute the projectCommunicates daily with vendors and project team to provide ongoing communication and updatesTracks project financials throughout the project lifecycle, including monitoring actual costs against budget, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, reconciling discrepancies, and following up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely paymentMaintains project documentation for audit and replication purposesSkillsBA/BS in Marketing or related field required; coursework or certification in project management principles is idealExperience developing cost estimates and sourcing vendor pricing preferredDemonstrate ability managing multiple tasks simultaneously with high levels of detail in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative and team-oriented – ability to work effectively with internal operations, research teams, clients, and vendors to identify needs, ensure clear understanding, and translate those needs into successful project outcomesGeneral numeric aptitude/ financial skills – able to work with costing models and manage to details of project specificationsProblem Solving orientation – experience managing through problems in terms of pinpointing issues and form solutionsDetail Orientation – ability to balance overall project goals with multitude of logistics requirements, key milestones and task coordinationStrong oral/written communication skills – able to understand/interpret, clarify and confirm others' communications/requestsProficient in MS Office (esp.
