Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced project lead/manager to ensure the successful completion of information technology projects.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop, implement, and oversee standardized project management processes and methodologies tailored to the community. Ensures all projects are executed in alignment with established frameworks delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards while consistently meeting stakeholder expectations.
ā¢ Prepare necessary documentation to support project initiatives. More specifically, work with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables and artifacts that are intended for audiences of varying levels of technical knowledge
ā¢ Monitor project performance and report progress through dashboards and executive summaries.
ā¢ Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and ensure quality standards are met across all deliverables.
ā¢ Support stakeholder engagement and facilitate cross-departmental communications.
ā¢ Mentor and coach team members on Agile practices and project execution, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
ā¢ Other duties as assigned. This may include special project assignments within the Portfolio Management Office or IT division, task force participation, or other activities as assigned.
Technical Knowledge:
Experience with documentation and artifacts related to any or all of the following technologies would be considered desirable for this position:
ā¢ ServiceNow
ā¢ Project Management software (e.g., MS Project)
Required Skills (Rank in Order of Importance):
ā¢ 1+ Year working with Business Analysts (BAs)
ā¢ 1+ Year experience working with Kanbans
Preferred Skills (Rank in Order of Importance):
ā¢ Product owner experience
ā¢ Experience working with ServiceNow
ā¢ Experience working with Data Analysts or Data Scientists
ā¢ Previous experience in an IT role (e.g, analyst, programmer, etc.)
Required Education/Certifications:
ā¢ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
ā¢ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
ā¢ Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of related work experience or 9+ years of related work experience with no Bachelor s Degree
Preferred Education/Certifications:
ā¢ Any other Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications
ā¢ Any other Agile or Scrum certifications
