Railroad Construction Company, Inc. is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our growing organization. If you’re passionate about construction, eager to gain hands-on experience, and ready to grow your career, we want to hear from you!What You’ll Do:
As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with Project Managers to help plan, organize, and execute construction projects. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, giving you a well-rounded experience and plenty of room to advance.Key Responsibilities:

Ensure safety is always the top priority
Interpret construction drawings and project documents
Create field sketches and construction details
Inspect job sites for quality and progress
Provide technical support to field crews
Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors
Track materials, report progress, and help manage project budgets
Handle RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Attend project meetings and provide updates
Perform quality control and assurance checks
What We’re Looking For:

3-5 years of construction or engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Tech-savvy, with Microsoft Office proficiency (bonus points for experience with VISTA, HeavyJob, BlueBeam, or AutoCAD)
Willing to work in varying outdoor conditions, travel as needed, and be flexible with hours (nights/weekends/on-call)
