Project Coordinator - Renewables

The Opportunity The Project Coordinator will work under the direction of the Program and Project Managers to assist with the organization, coordination, certification, completion and client relations for utility projects in various life-cycle phases from development through commercial operation. What You'll Do Development and maintenance of system project records, schedules, and resource plans Works with multi-discipline projects from beginning to end Assists in setting deadlines, responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects Monitors project work plan Promotes continued focus on excellent client service and exceeding client expectations Ability to work on multiple projects and/or issues simultaneously Assists with day-to-day operational aspects of projects Document timelines for execution of key steps in implementation process to identify resource bottlenecks and appropriate cases for escalation Escalate problems that are delaying implementation to client and internal management alike Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures Assists with maintaining project budgets by reviewing project expenses and labor to ensure accuracy Project reporting and analysis Project document organization, control, and management Coordination and management of Requests for Information (RFI’s) Development of meeting agendas and minutes Assist Project Managers with general responsibilities and tasks as delegated Works collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment What We Expect from You Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years professional experience in a similar role Must have strong quantitative skills with ability to design moderately complex spreadsheet solutions, database queries, and other analytical tools. Power BI (basic: refresh/read dashboards; simple report updates) Microsoft Teams and Outlook (meeting coordination, calendar management, stakeholder communications) SharePoint/OneDrive (document management, version control, and file organization) Must be able to prepare clear and concise status updates and reports as required Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Demonstrate excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills Consistently produce results that meet goals, have high work standards, and understand the business environment and processes Achieve results by problem solving, critical thinking, setting priorities and organization Strive for individual excellence by seeking challenges and self-development, demonstrating high levels of expertise, and showing commitment, self-confidence, and integrity Must have strong organizational skills.
