Project Coordinator (Land Development)

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the engineering department by ensuring compliance, streamlining communication, and maintaining project efficiency for land development projects.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project activities and track progress to ensure timely completionUpdate reports to public agencies as requiredAssist in updating project schedules to forecast workforce needs and support the entire project process from initiation to completionReview and ensure timely submission of expense and mileage reportsFollow up on necessary edits and discrepanciesManage and organize project documents, including drawings, specifications, reports, and other materialsEnsure proper uploading and version control on the serverEngage with clients, assist in seeking new contracts and maintain relationships with both public and private sector clientsDraft and send due diligence memos to brokers as neededAssist in preparing and submitting permit applications while tracking approvals and agency commentsSchedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutesFollow up on action items as neededSupport teams by reviewing project deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirementsProvide general administrative assistance to project managers and engineering teams, including handling correspondence, data entry, and file managementAssist with additional tasks as required to support project successSkillsBachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, agencies, and internal teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management softwareFamiliarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS, and permitting processesAbility to work independently while fostering effective team collaborationStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detailExperience with document control, reporting, and compliance tracking in engineering projectsBenefits100% employer-paid health coverage for employeesVisionDentalA 401(k) planPaid holidaysCompetitive PTOFlexible, hybrid work scheduleCompany OverviewKWC Engineers is a civil engineering company that offers strategic planning, surveying, and water resource services.
