To learn more about our work, please visit our website at www.refugees.org.OVERVIEWThe Program Manager of the Refugee Youth Resource Center is responsible for day-to-day operations of the project, which includes the development and delivery of high-quality training and technical assistance, partnership development, outreach, crisis intervention services and case consultations with refugee serving agencies. The position is responsible for the direct supervision of program staff and coordinates regularly with the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). The Program Manager will coordinate data collection, evaluation, and develop reports demonstrating progress in meeting deliverables and overall effectiveness of program activities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily operations, including the quality of content, organization, and accessibility of USCRI’s Refugee Youth Resource Center’s training and technical assistance activities and resources;Provide ongoing leadership, direction, development, coaching, counseling, support and oversight of program staff;Conduct ongoing needs assessment of refugee-serving agencies and child welfare entities. Coordinate and track training and technical assistance to refugee serving agencies nationwide; Plan and coordinate instructional design and curriculum development, working with staff trainers and content experts to achieve learning objectives for live web-based trainings and e-learning modules;Coordinate planning and development of psychoeducational videos and handouts in multiple languages for refugee children, youth, and their families;Develop and manage a project plan for resource development and provider vetting;Plan and coordinate buildout of learning management system, online provider directory and website design, working with IT staff to achieve objectives;Establish a helpline and procedures to provide crisis intervention and case consultations to refugee serving agencies; Maintain relationships with external organizations/subject matter experts for technical assistance and collaboration;Coordinate data collection, evaluation, and develop reports demonstrating progress in meeting deliverables and overall effectiveness of program activities;Partner with stakeholders to communicate training events and other program updates via the Refugee Youth Resource Center; andOther duties as assigned by supervisor.All of the above duties and responsibilities are essential job functions subject to reasonable accommodation. All job duties indicated are not to be an exhaustive statement and other job-related duties may be assigned as required by the supervisor(s).REQUIREMENTSMaster’s degree is highly preferred; or a bachelor’s degree with five years’ experience and demonstrated understanding of non-profit program management;At least two years’ supervisory experience; Experience working with refugee serving programs, child welfare, and/or working with foreign-born children and families;Experience providing training and technical assistance;Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically proficiency with Word, Power Point, Publisher, and Excel is required;Experience with Word Press, web development, and content creation highly preferred;Strong technology skills and ability to effectively utilize and manage online learning management systems (LMS);Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;Ability to work well independently and in a team;Ability to track and analyze data;Position is remote and the candidate must have an appropriate workspace to complete work, phone calls, and video conferencing;Willing to travel a few times annually; andDemonstrated support of USCRI’s values by exhibiting respect for others, maintenance of confidential information and an appreciation of a multicultural workplace.TRAINING REQUIREMENTSSatisfactory completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training; andComplete additional training as identified by supervisor or Human Resources.PHYSICAL DEMANDSUse of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity;Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; andQuantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements).Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.ADDITONAL NOTESPlease submit a resume with cover letter describing your interest and qualifications with your online application.
