Happy Scribe has an amazing community of linguists who deliver top-quality transcriptions, subtitles (SLS) and translations to our diverse clientele. We’re currently looking for new professionals interested in joining our scribe community to collaborate on our upcoming, exciting audiovisual projects. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for language experts who are excited to work with our AI and perform post-editing of our audiovisual projects. Must-haves • A degree in translation, linguistics or a similar field OR multiple years of experience translating. We also accept high-potential applicants with on-going degrees. • Familiarity with subtitling. • Native level fluency of the language you wish to translate into. • (At least) a good command of English. Nice-to-haves • Fluency in languages other than your native language and English. • Experience with verbatim transcription and/or SDH (Subtitles for the d/Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing). • Experience working for similar platforms.
