We are seeking an experienced claims professional who takes initiative, exercises strong judgment, and is committed to high-quality file management. Position Overview This is a part-time remote position, structured at approximately 100–120 hours per month, with the potential to expand based on company growth and performance. This role is ideal for an experienced adjuster seeking flexibility while managing complex, meaningful professional liability files. Responsibilities • Manage and resolve professional liability claims, including claims involving attorneys, accountants, and insurance agents • Handle both litigated and non-litigated matters • Conduct coverage analysis and develop strategic action plans • Evaluate liability, damages, and proximate causation • Coordinate with defense counsel and investigative services • Prepare clear, well-documented claim summaries for internal and client reporting • Maintain appropriate reserves and financial control over assigned files • Identify subrogation and contribution opportunities • Communicate effectively with insureds, brokers, and carrier partners Qualifications • 3–7 years of professional liability claims experience • Experience handling complex and litigated claims • Strong coverage analysis skills • Valid adjuster’s licenses in applicable states (or ability to obtain them) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team • Strong organizational and time management skills Compensation & Structure • $38–$42 per hour, depending on experience • Structured at approximately 100–120 hours per month • Flexible scheduling within agreed monthly cap • Opportunity for increased hours based on performance and program growth Why Join Us? • Fully remote and flexible environment • High-level, intellectually engaging claims work • Collaborative and experienced team • Opportunity to grow with an expanding professional liability TPA • Meaningful impact in a specialized practice area If you are a skilled professional liability claims adjuster seeking flexibility, autonomy, and high-quality work, we encourage you to apply.
