Profee Emergency Medicine Coder
Brault is a practice management, billing and coding company exclusively serving acute care independent physician practices.
We are seeking a strong and skilled coding professional with pro-fee coding experience for Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, and Urgent Care, to provide accurate coding to our physician and healthcare system clients.
• Analyzes and evaluates medical record documentation to determine the appropriate CPT (E&M Level and procedure) codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes that may be reported by the Client for billing purposes, according to current Brault policy, government regulations, and payer requirements.
• Completes coding functions for all charts assigned daily and distributes coded charts to the subsequent step in the workflow according to Brault P&P and departmental protocols.
Qualifications:
• Certified Professional coder (AAPC or AHIMA)
• 5 years’ experience required
• 5-7 years in Professional Fee Coding
• Emergency Medicine experience (preferred)
• Meet quality and production requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
