Production Support I
About the position
The Production Support I position at Howmet Aerospace is designed to assist in the production of highly engineered aerospace fasteners made from exotic alloy wire. This role is critical in supporting increased cycle counting requirements and ensuring accurate yield factors at the component level, which is essential for mitigating material inflation. The position also involves supporting pre-assembly component matching to enhance the efficiency of assemblers during testing and assembly processes.
Responsibilities
• Support increased cycle counting requirements as mandated by Corporate in 2024.

• Conduct weigh counts of completed components to adjust yield factors at the component level.

• Assist in pre-assembly component matching to enable assemblers to focus on testing and assembly.
Requirements
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desired or a background working with machinery.

• Ability to walk continuously for hours and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Certification in mobile equipment is preferred.
,
• Training in oil storage and handling is beneficial.
,
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is preferred but not required.
