This is your chance to work in a dynamic lab environment where your skills and contributions will directly impact the success of our operations.A Day in the Life of a Production Specialist at Discovery Life Sciences:

Complete work orders.
Cycle count consumable inventory and make orders.
Package and send off controlled temperature packages.
Perform quality control testing.
Must-Have Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):Must Have:

2 years of paid working laboratory experience performing aseptic technique for activities defined by written SOPs
1 year of experience in logistics and/or material management
Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Nice-To-Have:

Bachelors degree in Biology or other Life Science
Excellent time management, punctuality and reliability
Ability to work independently to achieve daily workload completion with limited/remote supervision
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in different functional areas
Agility in learning electronic systems and applying complex workflows to perform multiple tasks.Able to read, interpret, and communicate detailed procedures
Experience in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment (including but not limited automated cell counters, scales, biosafety cabinets, micropipettes, vortexer)
Ability to travel domestically for up to two weeks for training.
Key Responsibilities:

Utilizing aseptic technique in a Biosafety Cabinet to process bulk human tissues per established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Perform quality control (QC) testing (cell counting and viability testing) of produced products and evaluation of tested parameters against established specifications and determining release for shipment
Management and execution of Work Orders, Assembly Builds, Material Transfers, and Fulfillment tasks, including data recording and troubleshooting within Netsuite ERP
Maintenance of consumable inventory (ordering, cycle counting, inventory adjustments in NetSuite, receiving, put away)
Management of General Lab, Facility and Equipment Maintenance (Equipment PMs, Calibrations, repairs, etc.)
Performance of controlled temperature packaging and logistics activities (scheduling, system entry, labeling) for Commercial (Fed Ex) and independent (local couriers) carriers.
Customer service and vendor management
Handling and disposing of biological waste
Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits:Discovery Life Sciences is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience, ranging from $22- $25 per hour.Location and work hours:

ON SITE– Quincy, MA
Part time- Tuesdays required, at least 15 hours a week
