This role bridges the gap between clinical needs, product strategy, and technical execution, ensuring our solutions deliver exceptional value to radiologists, technologists, and healthcare organizations.The Product Solutions Architect is a senior level role that requires experience and demonstratable success in working with clients to build highly functional and performance optimized solution designs.In this role, you will work across different teams, platforms, systems, applications, and interface types to build workflow solutions for customer delivery programs.
The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of clinical imaging experience, product management expertise, and a deep understanding of workflow optimization and AI-driven imaging technologies.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Architecture


Define and evolve the product architecture for PACS and AI-integrated imaging solutions
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders to translate market needs into scalable product features
Lead the design of end-to-end imaging workflows, ensuring seamless integration with RIS, EMR, and AI tools
Clinical & Workflow Expertise


Analyze and optimize radiology workflows across various modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound)
Serve as the clinical voice in product development, ensuring usability and compliance with radiology standards and protocols
Conduct on-site and virtual workflow assessments to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation
AI Integration


Evaluate and integrate AI algorithms for image analysis, triage, and decision support
Collaborate with data science teams to define clinical validation protocols and performance metrics
Stay current with AI trends in medical imaging and assess their applicability to our product roadmap
Stakeholder Engagement


Act as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams on solution design and implementation
Support pre-sales and post-sales activities with technical and clinical expertise
Deliver product demonstrations, training, and documentation tailored to clinical users

5+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, or clinical applications in radiology imaging
2+ years of experience in healthcare imaging IT with experience in DICOM and HL7 standards
Clinical background (e.g., Radiologic Technologist, Radiologist, PACS Administrator)
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, preferably in one of the following digital segments: medical imaging, population health management, clinical workflow automation, clinical decision support
Experience with cloud-based imaging platforms and interoperability standards
Agile product development experience and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
Proven experience with AI/ML technologies in medical imaging
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, CE, HIPAA) for medical devices and software
Deep understanding of PACS, DICOM, HL7, IHE workflows, and imaging informatics
Expertise with solutions, vendors, and customers in medical imaging IT
Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset
Proven excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proven advanced problem solving and critical reasoning skills
Proven solid internal negotiating skills
Proven ability to make timely decisions
Proven ability to manage multiple projects that might be geographically widespread
*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter PolicyThe salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
