Quality Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Ā Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
Ā Lead LEAN/Six Sigma teams to improve processes and efficiency.
Ā Assist in IATF/ISO9001 auditing and training, including core tools.
Ā Mentor the quality team towards personal and continual improvement.
Ā Support supplier on-site auditing and suppliers' development.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Recommend quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
Ā Research statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error rate; determining levels of confidence.
Ā Analyze quality data from plant processes or customer indicators.
Ā Provide feedback to customers based on quality projects (e.g., warranty, APQP, issues, etc.).
Ā Lead quality investigations and problem-solving.
Ā Research statistical reliability by using the mean time before failure, Weibull 3-parameter distribution, reliability modeling, and reliability demonstration tests.
Ā Develop quality improvement experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.
Ā Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
Ā Maintain statistical process controls by applying demerit/unit, zone charting, X2 charts for distributions, and individual media/range for multi-stream processes.
Ā Analyze data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.
Ā Prepare statistical information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Qualifications:
Ā Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field of study.
Ā A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering function.
Ā IATF/ISO9001 internal auditor & core tools certified (Preferred).
Ā Experience with Lean Processes (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
