We're seeking an exceptional Product Manager, Policy Platforms, to join our team and help shape the future of our Policy Enforcement Infrastructure (PEI). As a Product Manager, Policy Platforms, you will have the opportunity to work on a mission-critical system that manages our policies and applies billions of enforcements annually across YouTube. About the Role The Policy Enforcement Infrastructure (PEI) is a backbone of our Trust and Safety efforts, and we're currently undertaking key foundational changes to the system to meet the evolving safety needs of our users. In this role, you will craft the long-term vision for the product while driving priority initiatives that deliver tangible results. You'll work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. Your expertise will help shape a critical system from both a strategic and tactical perspective, making a real difference across our core focus areas. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the product vision and strategy for Policy Enforcement platforms, including building stakeholder alignment, driving leadership buy-in, and setting success metrics. Drive key technical projects from inception to launch, working directly with your dedicated engineering team and operations. Collaborate closely across multiple internal teams, including engineering, operations, policy/user experience, and cross-product safety to accelerate delivery of new features and capabilities. Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth, and develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions. Manage a large and diverse set of internal stakeholders , and work cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business-related field or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting). 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders. Agile delivery mindset , with the ability to deliver on multiple priorities simultaneously. Solid understanding of customer-driven enterprise-scale platform development.
