The pay range is $85,500.00 - $153,900.00

As the Product Manager of Item Cost Management, you will be at the forefront of transforming empowering our business to achieve unparalleled accuracy and efficiency through the foundations of:
Product Excellence: Take ownership of Item Cost Management initiatives, focusing on streamlining and accelerating the accuracy of item costs across all business areas.
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate seamlessly with Assortment Planning and Vendor Experience teams to develop and integrate innovative capabilities that enhance the entire product lifecycle.
Enhance Our Technology: Lead the evolution of the Item Cost Management application. Your vision and insights will shape its features and functionality, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and drives business success.
Inspire Collaboration: Foster strong partnerships across departments, bringing together diverse perspectives to deliver a cohesive strategy that aligns with our company's goals.
As a Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will collaborate with your product team and key stakeholders to develop a plan and business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to build a strong knowledge of your product through product discovery to collect customer feedback and work to collect other relevant data points that explain the value and help you prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.
You will be the voice of the product with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles.

About you:
Four-year degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in retail, merchandising or cost management
Proven experience owning and driving product strategy from conception to execution
Technical aptitude with a strong track record of collaborating with engineering and UX team to deliver innovative solutions
Experience working in an agile environment, with a deep understanding of agile practices and frameworks
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex product concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable presenting and facilitating discussions with stakeholders across the entire ecosystem for a highly visible, cross-functional product
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
