Product Manager Human Resources (Access Management)

Remote Full-time
Dayforce is a global human capital management (HCM) company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, with operations across North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region.
Our award-winning Cloud HCM platform offers a unified solution database and continuous calculation engine, driving efficiency, productivity and compliance for the global workforce.
Our brand promise - Makes Work Life Better™- Reflects our commitment to employees, customers, partners and communities globally.
About the opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Product Manager to join the Dayforce Core HR team.
As a Product Manager in Employee Access Services, you will own and evolve Dayforce’s next-generation Access Management platform. This platform defines how users access employee data and system capabilities across the Dayforce ecosystem, ensuring security, compliance, and scalability for global enterprise customers.
The Employee Access Services domain is central to protecting sensitive employee information while enabling flexible, role-based access across HR, Time, Pay, and Talent.
This is an individual contributor role requiring strong product craft, structured thinking, and the ability to translate security, regulatory, and operational requirements into scalable, intuitive product capabilities.
Why this role matters
Access management is foundational to how Dayforce secures employee data and enforces compliance across the platform. Decisions in this domain directly impact data security, user permissions, auditability, and regulatory adherence.
As organisations scale across regions and roles, the ability to define, manage, and govern access becomes critical. Your work will shape how customers securely control who can access what, under what conditions, and at what level of granularity.
What you'll get to do

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Employee Access Services capabilities, including discovery, definition, prioritisation, delivery, and iteration.
Define and maintain a clear roadmap aligned to platform strategy and customer outcomes.
Partner closely with Engineering and UX to design scalable, configurable, enterprise grade solutions.
Engage directly with customers, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders to understand configuration challenges, regulatory needs, and workflow pain points.
Translate complex security, access control, and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities, clear requirements, and user stories.
Ensure access control logic supports secure, compliant outcomes across regions and customer configurations.
Collaborate with adjacent product teams across Payroll, Workforce Management, and Talent to ensure cross-product consistency.
Use product metrics, customer feedback, and operational data to inform prioritisation and measure impact.
Support go-to-market readiness and participate in major feature releases.

Skills and experience we value

3 or more years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, ideally within HCM or HR technology.
Experience working with access management concepts such as role-based access control, permissions models, or identity systems.
Strong understanding of how employee data flows across HR, Time, and Pay domains.
Experience delivering products in Agile or Scrum environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Clear communicator who can align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working directly with enterprise customers and incorporating feedback into roadmap decisions.
Commercial awareness and ability to balance customer value with business impact.
Comfortable operating in a remote, global, enterprise scale organisation.

What will make you stand out

Exposure to APJ regulatory requirements within HR or payroll systems.
Strong data and UX fluency with experience using analytics and research to guide product decisions.
Experience working across multiple HCM domains within a single platform.

Who you will work with
You will collaborate closely with:

Engineering and UX to design and deliver Core HR platform capabilities.
Payroll and Workforce Management product teams to ensure cross domain consistency.
Implementation and Solutions Advisory teams to understand real world configuration challenges.
Compliance and Legal teams to interpret and embed regulatory requirements.
Global product peers across North America, EMEA, and APJ to ensure platform alignment.
