In every culture, variations on a theme is a recurring figure, in art and craftsmanship.THE ROLEAlanui is currently looking for a Product manager to oversee the full development process of its collection, from initial concept to final product.You will work closely with the Creative Director and ensure all products meet cost, quality and brand objectives. WHAT YOU'LL DO Coordinate the execution of projects from insights to briefs through to design, development and costingManage the process of yarn/material sourcing, development, orders and purchasesManage the planning of the seasons structure to ensure the delivery of samples and production are on scheduleResearch yarns fabrics and accessories together with the Creative Director and Style teamBe the point of reference between the Creative Director, Style team, Merchandising and Production teamCommunicate with suppliers and actively participate in providing feedback and correctionsManage product coordinationManage the budget and ensure its adherenceCoordinate the compilation of technical sheets and cost sheets WHO YOU ARE 4+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury brand; at least 10 years in product developmentBachelor’s degree in fashion design or similar is preferred, a master’s is a plusExtensive knowledge and experience in knitwear is a plusEstablished portfolio of suppliers based in Italy with proven experience managing themExcellent knowledge and use of Adobe package – InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoshopExcellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint and ExcelAbility to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure REWARDS & BENEFITS Lunch vouchers EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES STATEMENT Alanui is committed to being an inclusive workplace where diversity in all its forms is celebrated.
