Job Title Product Development & Supplier Sourcing Manager (Skincare + Haircare | US-Based Manufacturing Focus) Job Overview Herbal Vineyards is a fast-growing wellness brand expanding into topical skincare and haircare products. We are seeking an experienced Product Development & Supplier Sourcing Manager to lead the end-to-end development of new physical products. This is for someone who has real experience sourcing, formulating, and launching cosmetic products with US-based manufacturers, with the ability to later scale into overseas production.What You Will Be Responsible For You will own the entire supplier sourcing and product development execution process, including: Translating product concepts into manufacturer-ready briefs Identifying and vetting US-based cosmetic labs and manufacturers Requesting and coordinating product samples Reviewing ingredients, safety documentation, and compliance Comparing: MOQs Pricing Lead times Reformulation flexibility Negotiating supplier terms Coordinating multiple rounds of sampling and revisions Presenting side-by-side supplier comparisons Managing timelines from concept → final formula approval Preparing for future China-based scaling strategy after US validation Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) You must have: Proven experience in skincare, haircare, or cosmetic product development Experience working with US-based cosmetic manufacturers Ability to handle: COA MSDS Ingredient compliance Stability documentation Experience with: MOQ negotiations Private label + light custom formulation Strong communication with labs and packaging vendors Ability to present clean, structured supplier comparisons If you have never successfully helped launch a physical cosmetic or haircare product, do not apply.Preferred Experience (Huge Plus) China-based cosmetic manufacturing sourcing Custom packaging and applicator sourcing FDA cosmetic compliance familiarity TikTok Shop or DTC brand experience Deliverables You Will Provide For each product, you must deliver: 3–5 fully vetted manufacturers bolthires breakdown per unit MOQ comparison Lead time analysis Formula overview Sample coordination Compliance documentation statusCompensation Structure Monthly retainer Per-product launch bonus Long-term role with scaling opportunity (This Filters Weak Applicants)Your proposal must include: A brief summary of cosmetic or haircare products you have helped developThe types of manufacturers you’ve worked with (US, China, both) One example of: MOQ negotiation Formula customization Or a product you took from concept to market Proposals that do not include real product experience will be declined immediately.About Herbal Vineyards Herbal Vineyards is a wellness brand known for high-quality sea moss-based products with a strong community-driven customer base.
