Product Design Office (PDO) – SUB-D/Blender Digital Modeler Internship
Join Stellantis as a SUB-D Blender Digital Modeler Intern to work on vehicle surface design in a hybrid setting at Auburn Hills, Michigan. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Work as a SUB-D Blender Intern within the Digital Modeling Development team in the Product Design Office (PDO) studios. • Create vehicle customer show surfaces for interior and exterior designs from concept to production. • Conceptualize sketches and match digital models as needed. • Collaborate daily with PDO design staff. • Follow a controlled methodology to produce refined surface quality. About You The company is looking for: • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design. • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the internship (May through August 2026). • Submission of a current portfolio in PDF format representing work from freshman year to present is required. • Completion of sophomore year at an accredited university by summer 2026 preferred. • Strong interest in digital modeling. • Experience with Blender and/or Alias SUB-D. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. • Solid understanding of vehicle architecture and design requirements preferred. • Note: Stellantis does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
